TinyMCE Image Editor installation

Note: this manual assumes you have already installed TinyMCE on your website. You can read more about it in the TinyMCE installation manual

  1. Download the archive with this plugin and unpack it to TinyMCE plugins folder. It depends of your installation, for example it may be: /var/www/tinymce/plugins. So you finally have new directory /var/www/tinymce/plugin/jsplus_image_editor
  2. Go to your initialization script. You can find it usually in the file representing the page with TinyMCE. If you are using CMS read its documentation to find this file.
  3. Add new plugins to your initialization script. For example here is typical TinyMCE's plugins configuration with added TinyMCE Image Editor plugin in it:

    plugins: [
"advlist autolink link image lists preview hr anchor spellchecker",
"searchreplace visualblocks code fullscreen media nonbreaking",
       "save table textcolor jsplus_image_editor"

  4. Add new buttons to TinyMCE's toolbar. You can do it by adding plugin's name to toolbar definition in the initialization script. Here it example:

       "undo redo | styleselect | bold italic | " +
"alignleft aligncenter alignright alignjustify | "+
"bullist numlist outdent indent | link image | " +
       "preview media fullpage | jsplus_image_editor"

If you use CMS like Drupal, Joomla, etc. please read its documentation how to install new TinyMCE plugins in it. These (and many other) content management systems have its own mechanisms for plugins' installation.
