The math plugin allows inline entry of mathematics using the calculator-style ASCIIMath notation, instantly rendered using MathML or images depending upon browser support.

The graph plugin allows creation of function, polar, parametric, and slopefield graphs, rendered using SVG or images.

ASCIIsvg and ASCIIMathML scripts, which wrote by Peter Jipsen, allow editing of math and graphs in the TinyMCE online text editor. These plugins require no modification to the TinyMCE editor, and provides image-based fallback for math and graph when the browser does not support MathML and/or SVG.

Notes:

  • Requires no modification to TinyMCE editor distribution
  • Provides image-based fallback for math and editor-produced graphs
  • Output can use a modified version of ASCIIMathML 2.0 (not included), but editor uses modifications of ver 1.4.7
